Being a DFW - has it affected your weight?

I actually put on weight because I was miserable half the time & rushing from my main job to my 2nd job meant (on the days I wasnt prepared and hadnt made a sandwich or something) I would stop at the newsagents for a chocolate bar or crisps. Not too good since my 2nd job was at a healthclub, hehe!! I couldnt afford to buy salad & fruit every week, I know that sounds like a cop out but it really did bump up my shopping bill.
Now I eat 5 portions of fruit/veg a day & eat better, and actually have time for the gym (didnt so much when I was working 2 jobs - and it was the last thing I felt like doing!!).
But mainly I ate because I felt it was the only thing I could do. I definately couldntve lost weight & paid off my debt at the same time, it would have been too difficult and life would have been too restrictive!! Saving at the moment and trying to lose weight and that isnt much fun I can tell you! :rolleyes:0 -
mmm well I wish I'd lost weight. I've put about 1 stone on. We eat more pasta, rice and cheep foods now. Less fresh veg and healthy lean meat etc. Cheap food is certainly more fattening, but hey I'd rather be a bit bigger and in no debt than thin and in debt.
I have the same problem. I had to stop going to the gym (I couldn't justify £35 pm) and, as I have always walked a lot, my level of exercise has dropped. I am also one of these people who put on weight when they are under stress even though I don't eat more than I did, just more pasta, baked beans and potatoes. I used to eat a lot of fresh fish but, considering the price, that has gone down too.2009: Headphones, Nintendo DSi , Baking Kit
