Being a DFW - has it affected your weight?

Hi everyone
As a new DFW I am wondering (hoping:rotfl: ) that my goal of being a DFW will also mean I lose weight - eg. no more buying lots of chocolate because I am depressed about the bills and CC statements.
Now, I must admit that chocolate is in my calculations for weekly grocery spending, but only a small treat each week (one twirl bar each!).
I've also sold my car and bought a bicycle to get to and from work each day and hopefully this will get me losing weight as well.
I've started planning meals for the week so that my shopping is controlled and the temptation to give in to a take away is hopefully gone. Also the meal planning means I can think about healthier eating - no more convenience meals.
I do realise that not all people with debts have eaten the mountains of chocolate, chips and chinese take aways that I have and therefore many of you will be healthy weights anyway, and also that worry over debts can have the opposite effect on people and they lose weight with the worry.
So......my question is....have any other DFWs who've been working at being debt free longer than me noticed that they've changed weight as well as reduced their debts?
I'm seriously thinking of adding my weight goals to my signature line to spur me on as well as my DFW info.....what do other people think?

Hey Brainfreeze,
I really hope so, I would love to be loosing weight as well as the debt, maybe we need a WFW - weight free wannabes!!!!LBM - March 2007
Total debt Jan 2008 - 23,535.62 (£7050.74 - Student Loan) [strike]£16,484.88[/strike] £13,762.86 (NOW) total debt
Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW NERD No. 457 Weekly budget £21.680 -
I've put on weight since dealing with my debts - I started my own business and now work away from home all the time. Without the strong leadership of Mrs Dither (and her great cooking) I have been visiting too many fast food joints and Chinese restaurants. My business helped pay off my debts, but it's ruining my figure!
Luckily women are not as shallow as men so physical attraction is not as important as personality (*cough* ) and all Mrs Dither has done is give me an occasional pat on my tum and called me "tubby". Naturally if Mrs Dither let herself go in this way, divorce lawyers would need to be consulted!Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

Two stone weight loss by mid July would be *F*A*N*T*A*S*T*I*C* - I have several special events in July to attend and would love to be that much slimmer.
Definitely going to go for it now, and with the help of being a DFW I think I may succeed in a way I never did with weight watchers - when I used to go there the most I lost was the weekly fee to attend0 -
I'm sure there's a debt-free and fat-free wanabees thread somewhere although I haven't seen it for a while.
I'll pass on commenting about weight loss just for the moment I think lol!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Two years ago I lost 3.5 stone in 4 months with Slimming World. Then I got stuck, lost my will and put it ALL back on plus some moreThat's why I feel so bad about my weight now - cause I know how fab it was to be slim!
