Good morning all,
Raining here too. Got soaked letting the chickens out. Took Jasper with me, so although he got soaked, he had a good run around.
We have finally started the girls rooms. They have now been plastered. Bedroom furniture is going to take up to four weeks to come. So long to save for and how quickly it gets spent. Really got to tighten the belt now with Christmas being just round the corner.
Stew in the slow cooker for tea tonight. I'll make the dumplings later.
DD is having steroid injections in her eyebrows next February. They may not even help with regrowth but DD is willing to try anything in order to get eyebrows.
I hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

Morning all, I'm having a really stupid day. Got a big holdall to lug to work as part of operation move house. And to the pub, and to dinner with the Australian. My dress zip jammed as I was getting dressed but had no time to change so decided to do it on the train but the only work dress in my bag makes me look like boobzilla. Then I tried to jump over my bag into my seat and ripped the split so now look like a homeless prostitute!! Thinking putting the broke dress back on and keeping a cardigan on all day is the lesser of two evils
Did I mention im also sporting the blotchy remains of a fake tan?! And a bag of wet washing!!
Hope you all have a laugh at my expense and have a good dayLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Just off to the charity shops to try and find an interview outfit. It's not until the 29th oct but I am stressing already.
Dh has got a terrible so throat, he always gets one when the colds are going round and nothing seems to ease it. Any suggestions much appreciated.
The house is feeling like everything needs a good clean so will get stuck in later. It's dry here but chilly can't see much drying outside now.
Got a big bag of tulip bulbs yesterday so may get those planted this weekend, otherwise it will be a quiet wkend, we are feeling a bit sniffly so hoping for a rest.
Need to go to Mr A's this afternoon for some essentials but other than that may snuggle up and light a fire.

Morning all,
the weather is bright enough but its so cold. I went out to clean up after the dogs this morning and i was out and back in again as quick as possible. Still, no frost which was a blessing.
Jobs for today:
Groceries. I am running short of milk and bread. Son has been doing long hours at college and taking more sandwiches. Ive been using more milk in my morning cereal. Ive got enough i think till i go grocery shopping tomorrow but just in case i'll buy an extra 4 pints.
Vacuum and dust throughout. Blasted dog hairs get everywhere!
Bathroom.
Prepare tea. The usual pork chop for hubby as he will be home later on tonight.
Judi quite a few of my pupils have those stretched earlobes, can't say it is my favourite look.
No nor mine, ive seen them too. I'm hoping he goes off the idea but if he doesnt, ive told him i wont be paying for it. Ive told him though a tattoo is a definate no. Of course one day i wont be able to enforce it but he's a pretty good lad generally and i dont expect him to go against my wishes (plenty of time for that when he leaves home ive told him).
Oh and i think ive put on a few lbs whilst we were away at the caravan. Its so hard to lose weight but so easy to gain it.

Wet and miserable today, suits the mood! Been sick half the night, went into DD's bed after the first sprint to the loo, ended up having to strip it and remake as it was full of crumbs and I couldn't sleep!
OS today will be as little as possible, wsill need to finish the ironing, and will throw a big batch of bolognese in the slow cooker.
Julie, try pineapple juice for the sore throat, helps the kids who are both troubled by their tonsils!
Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Good morning everyone
It's a beautiful day here and there was an amazing show of stars in the clear skies as I was leaving home this morning. It looks like I may get my Autumnal colours walk at the weekend after all.
Crochet jewellery is coming along and am sure it will be less fiddly with a bead threader. I will try and post some photos when it is finished. Second scarf is underway too, I must not neglect that because I have started something else. Need to get glass paints out this weekend and paint a clipframe for my DD, which will hold a photo of GDD.
Dinner is 100% store cupboard, puttanesca sauce with whatever sort of pasta is in there. Lunch is cheese rolls with :money:'s Tesco cheese glitch, the fridge overfloweth with Cathedral City cheese!
Back to work after my break so will say bye with good wishes for sick people and pets and hugs for those who need them or just want them.
