I had taken a taxi to the local Toolstation and bought a set of 36" bolt croppers, a cheapo angle grinder and a 50' extensino lead just in case the clamper had got it through a wishbone. The clamp was coming off no matter what and the repercussions would be dealt with as required.
I would love them to clamp me now. I really would.
Likewise, Sam, likewise. I'd love to see a clampit's face as he saw his clamp sliced up before his very eyes, with him knowing that for him to call the cops would be to admit his own crime.Je suis Charlie.0 -
My appeal has been rejected and now I either have to pay the £60 by 12th of November or it goes up to £100. Or I can appeal to POPLA (I have the code) and it will go up to £100 but I have to appeal on the same basis.
I am working with appropriate knowledgable people on my appeal and we will keep you posted.0 -
You need to appeal on the same basis? Does their letter say this? It might be interesting to see that letter.
My advice would be to appeal on whatever basis you like, but see that you are already receiving help.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
hey ManxREd, here is the letter....
Yes got help on the go, I will appeal on whatever grounds I see fit as things change for sure and if it was that critical then the ticket should explicitly state this and of course it does not!0 -
I updated the POPLA post, so probably best to keep the comments in that one rather than having two on the go, I just wanted to keep this thread updated for an newbies popping along.0

Just downloaded PDF form. Wow I need to actually complete it in pen! How quaint!
Spotted this on the Premier park site that made me smile..
With regards to our ongoing enforcement services against those drivers who do not pay their outstanding Parking Charge Notices (PCNs), Premier Park have just obtained further County Court judgments and admissions in the following cases: 2QT42576 – £511.66, 2QT42609 - £349.69, 2QT46138 - £180.17, 2QT42555 - £999.80, 2QT45862 - £188.38
Ooo and an email address! admin@premierpark.co.uk Who knows any Spambots?0 -
...'filling the form in by pen' - and yet the POPLA service says it prefers appeals by email?! Not everyone has access to a scanner or can manage the techy stuff of taking a digital photo, hosting it then attaching it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Am I right in thinking that the 'Q' in each one of these 'judgements' means the defendant did not turn up? So in effect in all probability these are cases where the RK moved house and never received the court papers.
Another way of looking at it is that Premier Park win zero cases where the RK either turns up or bothers to file a defence.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
Have I read their news page right?
Premier Parking claim to have won 82 county cases in 2011 - yet figures from Ministry of Justice said there were only 49 cases for all PPCs?Originally Posted by shortcrust

We can't say for certain that they were all 'moved house' scenarios, they may simply have chickened out, but we HAVE seen cases where papers were sent to an address that the PPC knew previously to be an out of date old address.Je Suis Cecil.0
