Morning all,
I think its a bright morning (i'm not sure i havent opened the blinds yet). Dogs have been out and ive had a shower (i'm trying to ween myself off super indulgent baths).
Not much to do today as i did it last night.... I'm a bit of a night owl you see. Ive got some paperwork i need to do so i'll get on with that i think.
Need to phone to see how my auntie is. I think its time i paid her a visit.
Spaghetti bolegnese for tea tonight. Son will be happy, talking about my son... he's turning into a rocker! He wont cut his hair and he announced last night he wants his ears peirced and the hole stretched..... oh dear! Still its his way of expressing himself i suppose.:)

Hi All,
Not been around for a while, been a bit hectic at work what with the new school year and planning for a major rebuild to one of our buildings.
Outside work has been busy too, rejigged the chicken run and coop to give them a bit more space. Started clearing the "jungle zone" at the end of the garden ready for the even bigger chicken run next year.
Been doing puuting by some spends ready for the festive season, and popped over to the local market and stocked up on meat from one of the auction vans.
My oldest has just moved back in to the family home, has caused a bit of tension, mainly due to the circumstances under which he left. But I could not see him homeless so bit the bullet. He seems to be getting things together, and has got a job, nothing fancy, but from small acorns etc.
That's about it.
Take care one and all.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

Morning all:j:j
Dry here and its quite warm too.
Well The twins are not at school today. They have both come down with a sickness bug. There is one going about the school at the moment.
I had my appointment at the hospital on Tuesday.
They have decided that it will be better for me to have treatment sooner than later. Not bad really as they told me about the new tumour in 2009 And now they are saying that they will remove it sooner than later !Just what later means to them I have no idea:eek:
Anyway. Its not as simple as Just cutting it out. There are a few problems because of were it it is. This time it also looks like they will have to remove part of the skull and replace it with a metal plate. In the past they have always been able to put the skull back.
So much for all the talk of having radio to treat this one.
Anyway I dont have any set date for any of this. It all depends On lots of things. One being if I wont to go though with it.
They have saidf that they can leave me longer If I don't yet wont anything done as its growing very very slowly. But it is now stating to press on the 5th nerve I think he siad the 5th anyway.
On to good news.
It was the twins first parents night yesterday. A a great report for both of them, Both myself and the wife and very proud of them :T:T So well done to both of them:T:T
Well everyone I hope that you are all well.
Lou that baby of yours looks a lovely lad. I bet both you and Dad are very proud
Have a great day all:j:j

Halight hugs to you, hope all goes well and the twins get over their bug quickly.
Morning all! Not raining at the moment but very cold and damp, oh goody the chinese laundry will continue on the airer and radiators! DD sent me a text at 10pm yesterday to ask what I'd bought in Boots as it was double discount for staff and I have the 2nd discount card of hers, could kick myself as I completely forgot and was going to order myself some new fit flops for next summer!!! Never mind, will try to remember the next time!
My friend lost her mother unexpectedly last night, although the wee soul has been ill for years still came as a shock, so will pop in to see her and family later, our daughters were best of friends growing up. OS wise much washing to dry, ironing pile to climb and OH has requested corned beef hash for dinner so no shopping needed today.
Have a good day all.RIP Iain

Good morning everyone
Another mad day, am counting the days down to the weekend but particularly to next weekend when it's half term and we get a few days off.
Store cupboard and freezer dinner booked of sausages, rostis and beans. Not very glamorous but great comfort food for cold days. Need to check what is left in the freezer for a low spend challenge next week, am pretty sure there is several days worth of meals though they may end up as a bit of a mish mash by the weekend.
First crocheted bead bracelet is underway, it was fiddly getting the beads on the cotton so I need to look for some sort of threader at the weekend. Second Christmas scarf is now neglected so much do that before I really get into the crochet stuff.
Bought tons of craft stuff for DGD from Poundland and I even got a money off voucher for next visit, have never seen one of those in a £1 shop before. All I need to do now is resist the temptation to spend it on chocolate
2 little ebay sales and 2 more on Amazon has added to the Christmas fund.
Back to work now so well wishes for sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Have a super day everyoneLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Hi everyone
Drying up now after horrid rain. DD has gone to see her knee doctor, so I have DGD this morning.
Had DD on the phone in floods of tears last night. They are really short of money since SIL lost his job, and had now got a new one, but no money for a few weeks. I have found out that he can get some from the jobcentre. I will try and help them out. Sent five bags of food over from my stock cupboard last night when I found out shse had literally nothing in the house except two chicken breasts and a tin of tomatoes:eek:
Kids, who's have em?:rotfl:
Having bolognese for dinner, HM pea soup for lunch.
halight -Hope the op goes okay.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Many thanks to all who enquired after mi poorly back. It's much better now as long as I don't make any unwary movements.
The Rev has just asked what we are having for lunch. I explained that I was working on the computer (Ahem!) and she said not to worry, she would get us something. Serves me right. Lunch will be OK but it will take me most of the afternoon to clear up the kitchen.
Miffy: I LOVED the patchwork class. Can quite see how addictive it could become. It's very character building for me - all that precision measuring. I tend to be a bit Gung-Ho when I'm working.
Moorhen: It beats me how you can train for a career for years, jump through all the hoops, do a good job for X number of years and they still have to keep checking up on you. I loved teaching but was very happy to get out of it at the end.
Halight: I don't think I would like to have to make your decision. I suppose there is no right or wrong decision, just choices you make. Lots of hugs to you. (and your sicky children.)
I am slowly getting through the ironing while I am on here. Every time the computer plays up or freezes I step away from it and iron something. It's the best move I ever made, putting the ironing board next to my desk.
Thank goodness the floods seem to have subsided. The High Tide washed away some of the beach huts yesterday. My DS was down there helping to rescue bits of them.
Enjoy your day.
