all the new digital meters for domestics only display 5 digits, smart electric displays 5 digits, and 8 for business es, prepays display 7 ,with a decimal point after the first 5 All the other non digitals will have 6 digits but clearly indicate by a colour change that the last number is tenths and not read. I do see a few digital Ampy types which have prob been small business meters and been changed to domestic status which have 6 digits. I would ve thought that all the digital meters will not be displaying tenths of units at all
As Terry says it will prob be a faulty meter, others have reported the same thing in the past on here with new meters going bonkers0 -

Ampy 6 dial digital were common in the 2 regions that first Smartpower. LBSL also procured the credit versions.
These display 6 digitals plus up to 2 decimal places.
Its probably because they are fit in EELC, LOND, SEEB, SWEB, MIDE, NORW & SOUT.
New meters are calibrated on the bench at the Meter Operators end and for some reason its common for errors to occur from installation. I'm not sure why this happens with speed issues as they should surely be testing them but incorrect settings other than these occur from this point.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
