No, the problem lies with Talkmobile:paulofessex wrote: »That may be why your having problems
08 numbers included?0 -
My landline / broadband was down for a week during a house move so I thought 0800 buster was a good little money-saver for me (moving house is costly enough!)
I've always trusted advice from Martin's website, but I've just received a whopping bill from Orange for calling this number throughout that week. I have inclusive minutes and did not exceed these in the month.
AVOID...........AVOID...............AVOID!!!!!!!!
MONEY SAVING TOWERS, TAKE YOUR ARTICLE DOWN PLEASE0 -
Why don't you guys just use Say no to 0870. it just gives you the landline number which is charged at standard rate/taken from your inclusive minutes?
Why would you use a number to call another number. Just use the direct number for the company.0 -

Nothing wrong with MSE advice. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/cut-cost-0800-mobiles#buster If you have been charged by Orange to call the 0333 access number that is down to them and you should pursue it with them.
03 numbers are supposed to be treated the same as 01/02 numbers and should come out of your inclusive minutes.
I assume you were calling solely 0800/0808 freephone numbers via it.0 -

Because not all numbers are listed on say no to 0870.
You would use an access number for cheaper or inclusive calls. If you look at Say No they recommend various ones.;)0 -

I've been using weq4u (surely this is the only app you need for this sort of thing?) for quite a while now on talkmobile contract, it seems to work perfectly 90% of the time for me and never had an additional charge on my bill. and no charge to your allowance if you get in a queue!0
