I'm a Norton user and have been for many years and don't care if people keep saying I should use the freebies (which I have tried and still gone back to Norton). So, getting that out of the way, I will say that you have to shop around and have usually found the best deal on the norton sites - but you have to shop around and keep searching!
To give an example:
Noton 360 - 59.99:

Or:
Norton 360 - 38.99:

I managed to find 360 for 28.50 back in June on one particular Norton/Symantec offers page (it was a 50% discount).Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.0 -
If you had looked a bit closer, you would have found that it was only £12.

Click through at the £29.99 price, remove the £8.99 Norton Virus Removal Assurance and then click on 'Got a referrer or coupon code?' and add your Promo Code. et voila! £12.0 -
You can also go into a PcWorld or Currys store and they will sell you Norton 360 V7 and Cloud backup for £39 (these are two separate products, you can choose to use the cloud backup if you want or just use the Norton)
They both last for a year's subscription and the cloud backup is 500GB of online automated storage provided by livedrive (the £39 covers both norton and the years subscription to livedrive)

Your right! My memory's failing. I've just checked my Order Confirmation - the £28.50 was prior to the discount. I did buy it for £12 - there was a previous thread that provided a discount code.Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.0 -
Please tell me if Im wrong but Im currently running Norton Internet Security 2013 from a 2011 version I bought for £8.99 and just updated via the website. This must have saved me at least 15-20 quid.
Just wondering if you can buy an older copy of 360, which is bound to be cheaper and simply update it online?Old Faithful we roam the range together,

When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
Personally having used a number of different anti-virus/protection software packages over the years, I'm now very happy with Microsoft Security Essentials and install it on all my clients computers. No issues yet and completely free.
