Luckily, the only thing on that partition is Windows itself.
All data/programs/everything is safe on separate partitions, and backed up on a separate HD.
So Windows can sulk all it likes. I just choose Linux when this PC boots for now

Lucky you....I have a raid setup & one of the 2 drives i've connected has decided to give up...luckily I have an external 250GB drive with back ups on...although stupid vista can't boot from a USB disk...AGHHHH!!!!!!

didn't have much choice really....had a packard bell PC and to be honest the restore disks they provide are useless, I opted rather stupidly for buying a copy of vista after a major system faliure & replacement of major parts instead of sticking with XP which I should have done from day one...and now can't use the useless recovery disks because i've installed vista now inplace...I should never have been talked into vista i'm usually soooooo strong against computer retailers, must have been a jedi mind trick!We all die.
