    Well, each to their own, tf - Personally, I would have Black Pudding on my Cornflakes, but the milk needs to be hot, otherwise the black pudding curdles it. :rolleyes: :beer: :rolleyes:

  • Oh, I love black pudding! In the days when my stomach could tolerate it, my favourite Saturday brunch was black pudding, streaky bacon, baked beans, mushrooms & lashings of fried onions with two rounds of buttered toast. A large plate of that could keep me going until a late supper. :)

    When i lived at home sat was always bacon,egg,sausage,black pudd,mush,tom,fried bread. In winter it was mashed spuds,in summer new ones. Those where the days. Funny how people tended to have the same menu every wk.
    Mon= cold meat,egg,chips
    Tues=pork chop,mash,veg
    Wed= stew or shep pie
    Thurs= braising steak
    Fri=fresh fish/or chippy
    Sat= as above
    sun=roast at 1.30 on the dot,with salmon sarnis,jelly and blacmange for supper

    I am going back in time i think.lol
