Hi Toto,

I'd guess you already know this, but I'll say it anyway, the reason they're asking about the value of items introduced into the business is to calculate any Capital Gains Tax liability if the sale goes ahead. You want the highest possible values you can justify or that fat slob in No11 will get his greedy mits on your hard earned dosh.

Hi Gismo,

I think we're heading for the major supermarkets some time in the early hours to pick up some of those 20p deals you were telling my O.H about :eek: I don't know whether to be pleased that we're saving money or appalled because it means going shopping :rotfl:

Yes I realise it's all tax stuff. Capital gains makes me weep. I mean we pay VAT, we pay corporation tax on any profits, income tax on any personal money taken from the profit and then they want to tax us again when we sell and try to have our remaining share of the profit out of the business. Bloody tax. I want to be the tax man in my next life!

Morning Rich ,

ok top tip for you what time does said supermarket close ?

As ours closes at 10pm so 9pm onwards they reduce items .

Ty Dear Gismo,

Will make a note of that and let the boss know when I see her at lunctime. It seems a little mundane communicating on line after meeting for real, it's far more fun when you can actually see who you're talking to.
