Thanks Phil. Managed to doze on and off but it was difficult as everything was running through my head and the boy upstairs decided it would be fun to jump off his cabin bed again and again and again so his mum started screaming at him and he started screaming back and it just went down hill from that. It was when he started playing his drum kit that I gave up :rolleyes:

No she's still not out. Alan's in one hell of a state because she should be out by now.

Could be any number of reasons why shes not out yet....its probably just a delay..usually your sat waiting on a trolley for an age in the pre-op room before you go into theatre...hopefully you'll hear something soon

Spoken to BIL who is at the hospital with my 2 SIL's and Phil was right although she went down at 3.00 she waited quite a while before she went into theatre. Why couldn't they tell us this earlier . She's still in theatre now so still waiting.

DH has just phoned, he was on the way to the hospital, the car has broken down :eek: . Looks like the clutch :eek: he doesn't know whether it's the cable or worse :eek: and the exhaust is making huge rattling noises :eek: . Thank goodness we took out breakdown cover with this car, first time ever!

very true. try not too worry too much TF ...... easier said than done I know when you arnt there getting first hand info. I have had this twice with my OH and both times it turned out he was waiting to be collected and taken back to the ward but had to wait while the staff had their food breaks, understandable when you know but a real worry when you dont
