Anyway TF....Leon won `cos there are more Jocks than Taffs.....nothing to do with talent.

Also, my cynical side would say that both will sell recosds but Leon has more appeal to the younger ones who will purchase music. Rhydian will sell albums forever with a voice like his . So Cowell gets the best of both worlds and makes double the dosh................ME? Cynical? Never!!

Sorry TJ that's the sassanach in me spelling it as it sounds. I have a small colection of malts from the Isles. DH and family are scottish and my FIL always used to have a couple of bottles given to him at Christmas my colleagues and he doesn't like whiskey. So they ended up in my cabinet Unfortunatly he retired this year so no more freebies . It was always a standing joke that I could drink a scotsman under the table as I could drink it like water but since having kids 3 glasses and I'm anybodys

I reckon you could be right about Rhydian. Being 2nd there won't be so much pressure on him and he will probably have more say on what he wants to do rather than have to do what Simon wants 'cos he won the prize. Quite often the runner up has a better career, Steve Brookstein anybody? G4.....
