Well done on NAD. I'm working at NAW (no alcohol weeks)
You maybe skint but you'll have your health and if push comes to shove you can always sell your now healthier liver! there aren't many of them around at the moment:D
Edit..you need your liver to live so maybe not a good idea.:rolleyes:The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter 0 0

Am on my second NAD (no alcohol day) so will have a virtual pint before bed.
Am off out with work for the team lunch (and half day skive) tomorrow and I'm seriously considering sticking with the no alcohol thing. Maybe have a pint with lunch and that's it. Hmm - this isn't like me
Squirrel; the team?  I hope you're not mired in the public sector like me.  That entails the deception of a bottle of white spirit to mix with a coke, or sliding into another bar when everybody thinks you've gone to the loo. Of course, everybody assumes you've got loose bowels and need constant proximity to the ablutions but it's a price I'm morethan happy to pay.  :rotfl: :rotfl:0

NAWs seem a long way away at the moment but it's nice to know I'm not the only one trying this!
Yesterday it did my head in and I kept wanting to go to the offy but I spent today at Wonder_Girl's and watched '300' this evening - by the time I got home the offy had closed so knowing that I couldn't go and buy any beer has made it easier. I'm going to read to get to sleep again tonight - it's been ages since I've done that instead of passing out on the sofa! DD is still at her Dad's and he's taking her to school in the morning so I don't have to get up until 7 either - whoop whoop!!! Nope - I work for one of the places in your sig We have 2 'teams' at the moment, for ease of admin but having worked in a call centre I can assure you it's as far away from that sort of team as possible. To enable us to actually enjoy our lunch, we have worked extra time back so that we can have half a day off and have a drink (we wouldn't be able to do that if we were going back to the office). Taking each day as it comes and you will get there.
What was 300 like. I've read the comicbooks and it was stunning.
Enjoy your lay inBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

300 was good - not much of a storyline but it was one of those films that didn't need it. Battle scenes were amazing - wish I'd seen it at the cinema now.
Will definitely enjoy the lie in! A whole extra hour. Bliss All comments made and advice given are my own opinions and do not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.
