    Morning all,

Molly have a hug, hope you feel more positive soon
FB hope the op helps with your dizziness

Sounds like the north west got the good weather today. It's bright and breezy so will put some towels out to dry shortly.
Have had a bit of a lazy morning and caught up with Made in Chelsea which I love:eek:
have had a good breakfast as I won't eat again until about 7.30 after my weigh in. Dh and dd will have chicken curry out of the freezer.
Going to have a shower and wash my hair soon. I've started using rollers instead of straightening it every day as my hair is suffering. It works well when I have the time. Just gives it a bit of body.
Have lots of eBay posting to do as well.
Looking forward to tomorrow as I have the car and will meet dd for lunch which I always enjoy. It's nice when we get time alone to chat and catch up.
Feel a bit stuck with my weight at the moment. Stayed the same last week seem to have hit a plateau. But will carry on I am determine to get to goal this time.
Anyway best get on bye for now x

Been to the hospital this a.m. to see the Rheumy nurse. My joints have improved no end since I started the anti-TNF drugs, even with the colder weather kicking in.:j(I couldn't do this six months' ago!!)
Popped to the farm shop on the way home to stock up on chicken feed and was temted to buy another couple of Light Sussex chooks. I resisted .....:T
DD15 is currently in year 11 and her secondary school doesn't have a 6th form dept. So this week and next will be taken up with school visits to see if we can find her a place for next September. She currently travels 45 mins each way to school so we are going to see the our local catchment school 6th form college tonight. Fingers crossed she likes it as the travelling is getting her down a bit.

Looking forward to the end of next week when half-term starts. It's been a long haul to get to half-term this time. Not sure why as Christmas falls on the same date each year and we always go back around the 3rd/4th September. The chaos reigns with nativity plays, xmas bazaars, carol concerts, decoration day, santa day etc. etc. etc. If you work in a school setting, you are all 'Christmassed out' by the time you break up!

    Hi all:wave:

I thought I wasn't going to get here today! Had my blood test this morning, and been feeling very poorly ever since (I'm such a wimp!)

Timetofacethemusic many thanks for the link on yesterday's thread to the crochet site:A ('twas me that asked, and don't worry, I'm not offended that you forgot who, just grateful that you've kindly done the link):D – I've bookmarked it to peruse at leisure.:o

Molly sweetie, you sound so sad in your post – have a (((HUG))). I know it doesn't make it all go away, but hopefully it'll help just a bit.:o

Monnagran how's the back today? I sympathise – back pain is the absolute pits!

Bitsy I hope Luna got on OK at the vets – poor lamb, her skin must be so sore if she wouldn't let you look. She can share the healing vibes I'm sending for Maud.

Not sure what to do about dins tonight – Mr LW was talking about going out, as he's on leave, but I'm not sure I feel well enough. We shall see. He's got his head buried in the newspaper at the mo, and keeps reading little snippets out loud to me.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all,

Lashed rain all morning here, floods on road when I was coming back from knitting, has brightened up now but expect more rain later. OH looked so miserable when I came back that I took him out for lunch....guilt and the fact that I had taken nothing out of freezer to cook....so that's us fed for the day.

Molly....you sound so sad as someone else has said....hugs.

Still haven't sorted OH's life assurance out, no way I can pay the amount they are looking for, so think that I will let cover drop substantially and put away as much as I can somewhere that I can get a decent return, although will be a problem finding that I am sure.

Hugs to sickly dogs...Mossy has become a real house dog, only goes out when he needs to and spends the rest of his time on my feet or chair!

Need a cuppa as throat is very dry, might even make a sandwich as I can't live on one meal a day as OH can.

    Kind thoughts for all

    Marie

Got soaked on lunch duty today, the rain was torrential, lots of kids refused to go indoors, so I had to stay outside with them.
    Hugs to Molly.
We have regular observations at work & it makes for a very stressful time.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

(((((hugs)))) to all those in need, especially Molly

I'm feeling better today, hopefully over the worst of the cold. Broke the news to my boss today re me having the operation and needing up to 2wks off work. She is pleased they are doing something to try fix me, but anxious as we are short-staffed as it is! But it may be months away yet.

Biggest news of the day is that my work kids have more or less finished the greenhouse! Here's a link to the picture! :D

We just need to put the patio slabs inside and tidy it up. They worked hard (well some of them did! :rotfl:)!

Another quiet night in for me, got a magazine to read :)

OS wise - dishes to wash, tea will be something simple, packed lunch made.

    Have a good evening all

    Hey Strangers!!

I have internet at home once more so you'll see me posting more often now.

    Hope everyone is well.

Bitsy - hope Luna got on okay.

Sooo, I really need to get back into OS life, I've been partying hard recently and now feel the time is right to get back to my quieter side to my life... plus i have a new fella so no need to go out so much anymore!!

Still sharing custody of the dog, but ex is no longer allowed to have him stay the night, so I get him every night and ex has him in the day....will see how long that lasts, I can't see it working long term. Plus i just plain don't want to see him every day.

Off to try and do some catching up :) xxx
