Good morning everyone
Flying visit as another mad day ahead and was late for work due to dreadful weather and driving conditions.
Link for crochet jewellery patterns is on yesterday's thread, am really sorry but I can't remember who asked me for it and I don't have time to look it up again now.
Well wishes for sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them, especially for Molly41 today.

Morning all, Hugs for the poorlies/those feeling sad or troubled
Wet here last night , very windy too. Was woken by next doors roofing felt being ripped off and blown against my window.:mad: Was that loud I thought the window was being put through. tried to get back to sleep but didnt manage to so have been up since half 4 , yawning a bit now but managed to get most of housework done, load of washing put onto airers in the airing cupboard another small load in the machine . Dw unloaded and now reloaded as prepped a lamb casserole for slow cooker and made a cherry and coconut cake and a victoria sponge that ds3 has taken in for head of 6th form. Was meant for the cake tin here , never mind he is the one that will loose out on it;).
Ds4 is still unwell and has an appointment for the drs at 10.40 this morn. Its now gone onto his chest and he looks awful and is really warm still. Dsis is going to pic us up and take us there.
Dd is off to the natural History Museum with her school today. So have sent her off with a packed lunch for her and a few extras for her friend as the friend told us that her mum says a sandwich is suffice for lunch. Maybe it is but last time dd shared all her packed lunch with her friend so I thought I might as well just send in the extra piece of cake , extra banana etc. Hope her mum doesnt mind.
So off for a shower now the bathroom is free as got muddy and yuck walking woofer this morning.
Hope you all have a lovely day:)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -

Morning All
Wild and wet today and we are going to Bletchley with the outlaws. FIL has a car that is only a few years old, but he doesn't do long journeys any more, only little jaunts into town, plus the insurance is over £500 and that is hard to come by for a pensioner.
Molly (((((Hugs))))) I had a so called friend for seventeen years until DH caught her slagging me off behind my back, I helped her out so many times over the years and wondered how many times she had done it, I asked other friends and they said that she had been doing it for years and laughing about it :mad: It blooming well hurt, needless to say she is no longer part of my life.
Moorhen ((((Hugs)))) and positive vibes x
bargainbird I hope that Maude continues to improve.
Well I had better get ready

I managed to catch up with a few posts last night. I hear Lou has delivered her baby. Congratulations Lou, I'm so pleased for you.

sunny and blowy here so washing will be out.
Need to change the bed too.
I treated myself to some breaded camembert yesterday from Ald*i - not tried them before so shall sample them tonight:)
Have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Motning everyone
Wild night here too:eek: I woke up at 2 and watched Obama and Romney fight it out till 4!:rotfl:
Went back at 5 and slept till 8:o
Physio at the hospital this morning. I have been a good girl and done my exercises every day, so I hope Rachel will be pleased with me.:rotfl:
Chicken from Sunday for dinner tonight.
taplady - I love Aldi's breaded camembert (Lidl do then too)
Molly41 - I know how you feel my love. Somedays we all find that our illnesses and troubles get on top of us. I felt the same last Monday and spent the day crying and miserable. Just do it. Tears can be very healing. You will get through another day, and then it will all seem better. Yes, we know there are people worse off than you, but when you feel this way it doesn't seem like it, so wallow for a while. Come here for support (Great people on here) and then try again. (((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Morning All
Damp and cold here but not the high winds some of you are experiencing. Washing on the airers but it's taking an age to dry as I am only heating the kitchen and living room, bedroom heaters go on when we need them (I accidentally left mine on last night and woke up at 1am sweating like a pig!).
I still have no car so took DD to the station and will pick her up later. Going to visit a friend this morning who is looking after her baby GS for the day so should have some cuddles!
Changed elec supplier yesterday and fixed for a year, hope I have done the right thing. Also wrapped all the christmas pressies I have, just half a dozen little things to buy for people and the children's big stuff so feeling rather pleased with myself!
Molly - Hang in there, things will improve. Remember we are all here to listen.
Moorhen - Good luck today.
Monnogran - Hope the back's better soon.
Special hugs to Maud and Luna.
Take care. XX0 -
Big (((hugs))) to Molly.
Thinking of you with the observation Moorhen. I've been there.
Thinking of doggies Luna and Maud.
Glad your DD is going to cut down RedRuby - sometimes they just get overwhelmed with everything they've taken on. Mind you, I haven't learned at this great age as i took on some volunteering (which ended up being in charge, which wasn't what I had thought would happen) and I've had to tell them I'm stepping down as it's making me exhausted at work the next day.
Have been reading most days but haven't posted for a while.
V rainy here today. College closed for hols and the lovely autumn sunshine lasted one day!
Have a good day folks.

Morning all!
Chilly here and persisting down, so I filled the WM and went back to bed with my kindle and a coffee, needless to say have read a book and a half and the morning has gone forever, never mind I needed the me time! Plans for today include more washing to hang about on the airer, and to take mum shopping for her heavy stuff like tins and bottles, then maybe some more reading, no motivation just now to do anything in the house.
Think OH mumbled something about fish and chips for dinner, will need to get some spuds as I used up the last ones making tattie soup on Sunday!
Have a good day all!RIP Iain
