I've got a bolt stuck right in my tyre. I only realised because it was making a noise when I was driving. I've been driving on it all day before I realised I hope I've not done more damage. The tyre hasn't gone down though?
So my question is where is the cheapest place to get one fitted does anybody know? Its a Continental Premium Contact SSR 205/55R16 91H whatever that means? Sorry I'm a real girly girl tyres mean jack to me
Thanks

    Hi Mae
Check It In The Morning If Its Still Up And Being The Back
One Should Be Ok To Get You To Tyre Dealer Don't Go On The
Motorway It Will Only Get Loose With The Heatof The Tyre
While It's Still Hard It Shouldn't Damage Your Wheel
    Good Luck Mae

Thanks again just a thought though do you think it could be repaired rather than replaced? It is not on the side its in the middle of the flat if that makes sense!!

Not the sort of question you can answer without being an expert and having the tyre in front of you.

Best advice is go to an independent tyre dealer and ask them.

Has the bolt actually gone through the tyre or is it just stuck in the tread of the tyre ? quite often things like that get caught up in the tread of a tyre and just need to be prized out of the tread with a blunt tool.

Why don't you put the spare on for now? Then you can relax and get the tyre fixed/replaced at your convenience without the worry of driving with a bolt in the tyre (I wouldn't continue to drive on it). It'll only take 15 mins to get the spare on.
