O2 free dongle when moving house

I have O2 home broadband, and when I moved house they sent me a free mobile broadband dongle & simcard to cover the disconnection period. Pretty good already, but then my line was reconnected so fast I never got round to using the dongle. And they don't even want it back.
No, I don't work for O2 :-) but I'm wondering if I can sell the dongle on eBay. It's brand new in an unopened box, and has a sim in a separate packet. I don't know what kind of sim or if it comes with any data credit. If I sell them, would I eventually get billed for the buyer's data use?

sell witout simDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
