I know this has already been answered, but here's a step by step explanation as I just like to do maths...
10 x 108 = 1080
1 x 108 = 108
1/4 x 108 = 27 (108 divided by 4)
Add them all up and it's 1215Pants0 -
What you're doing is adding a quarter of 11 to 11, ie 2.75+11, which is 13.75. Then you're multiplying that by 108 which gives 1,485.Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.0

Well spotted, brat.
Was wondering what they had done.
OP, if you are doing this on a calculator then a quarter is 0.25 so eleven and a quarter is 11.250 -
got it - what a wally - thanks all.June - Watch0
