Do you think Cats can be spiteful

Hi, we have a little nutter of a cat and on Saturday evening i locked the cat flap as there was a little shrew running round on the patio collecting leaves and seeds.
The cat saw it but i wouldnt let her out, she has her litter tray and everything in the house so she didnt have to go out.
At about 4am she jumped on my pillow and woke me up and then proceeded to pee in my hair.
So in the shower was i and the washing machine on all before 4.30 am.
Do you think either it was spite or has she had a grudge.
Laughing about it now but i wasnt on saturday

Oh yes my cat Megan is the Queen of doing things out of spite!
Same with my dog Molly
Megan will look you straight in the eye when you tell her off as if challenging you to make her stop grrr
I even told OH when he moved out to work away "If I'm found dead it would probably have been Megan"First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
It would be my experience that if a cat was going to retaliate for something it would do so immediately by using vocal sounds, claws or teeth. I've never seen or heard a cat harbouring a grudge or spite. Nor have I ever heard of a cat peeing on anyone before.0

It may have been meant for my pillow but it certainly got me0

Definitely.
Mine aren't spiteful towards me...but I've had Alice (3) since she was a kitten, and adopted Portia (1) from a rescue in March.
They get on perfectly fine, not best friends or anything but I don't have to seperate them or supervise them.
However, if I ever tell Alice off for anything or to stop her doing something, she'll head straight for Portia and give her a little swipe! It's quite funny!0 -
I don't know about cats but dogs certainly can.
A while back I told Tyson off for digging holes in the garden.
Had a dinner date at my house that evening and so let Tyson out in the garden for a wee before my date was supposed to arrive.
He proceeded to do a huge poo and then eat it.
Managed to get him back in the house just as my date arrived, Tyson gave him the biggest welcome kiss ever...

Sorry, I know it wouldn't have been funny but I'm in hysterics here. I can't stop laughing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
This made me laugh out loud.
However, I do think cats can harbour a grudge. My dearly departed cat Spook got the proper hump when I misguidedly got her a companion, and was funny with me for years. Just to rub it in, if anyone else came to the house she was all over them like a rash.0 -
Oh yes! One morning i was having a lie in and my cat wanted breakfast and because i was ignoring him he sat on me a wee'd right through the quilt all over me. That was the end of that lie in as I was in the shower in super fast time!0

This made me laugh - yes I've had cats do the spiteful-peeing thing as well
DH got a chestful from one while he was asleep, and I got a work shoeful from another. "Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000 -
No, my cats have never done anything like that and I can't imagine them doing anything as naughty like peeing on the bed or *shudder* in my hair. Don't get me wrong, they are no angels. In fact, my youngest was a sw1ne when he was on house arrest following a nasty RTA but they would never do anything like that.
Thinking about it though, my big boy went through a spell of placing found banana skins (he is a womble and brings rubbish home) at the top of the stairs. I had to learn pretty sharpish to put my glasses on before getting up.0
