Each time there is a splitter, the signal after it is half the power before it, hence after a long cable run the signal will be poor. So your tree like distribution cable system will not be helping.
Main cause is likely the aerial though. You dont say where you live. Is it a loft or outside aerial? Maybe the aerial is the wrong channel group for your local transmitter, or just old. Water getting in old frayed cables is another cause of poor signal. Sometimes when booster transmitters are put up in poor signal areas, contractors swing the old aerial round, but the fill in transmitter will operate on different frequencies , some of which may not be picked up as well as others. Main transmitters have the aerial elemeents horizontally, fill-ins use vertlcal elements.

Thanks, am pretty sure its a roof aerial. Its likely to be an old cable/aerial and probably also getting water in it!Weight Loss - 102lb0

have you tried retuning Itv if all the other channels are ok it could be that the tuner picked up a weak signal from another transmitter0
