How not to sell a car...

Message just sent to the seller."IF YOU WISH TO QUERY SOMETHING, PLEASE ASK."
I would like to query the following.
1/ Why you have so many cars yet are not registered as a business,
2/ Why, despite being an obvious business seller, you do not have the faintest idea of your legal obligations,
3/ Why you are selling cars which you state may be
unroadworthy?
To save time, I have passed your ebay details onto Trading Standards and I'm sure that you can give them the information when they request it.
If I get really bored later, I will also send your details to HMCE through their reporting facility on their website.
Have a nice day.
I haven't contacted TS, but the seller isn't to know that, and maybe (although I doubt it), this may get them to change their selling practices slightly.0 -

No warranty offered (but only when they sell on ebay).
When they sell through Autotrader, they give a 6 month warranty and will also accept part-ex.

I sold a very large houshold item (not a car) for £900 and the buyer wanted to pay me cash on collection. Some people say not to use PayPal for collection.
We both agreed to leave each other feedback there and then by way of a reciept.
I do agree in this case the car listing is one to keep away from

Does he not realise that you can't go around excluding implied conditions? When you sell something you can't pick and choose the law!Debtfree!0 -
