Sorry, don't know what I was writing with the square meter thing, lol.
It's even on y website that it's m3 not m2... my fault.

Like I said earlier, we don't oversell anything, we only waterproof. If a customer calls to clean their roof and seal it, why not??

The way the energy saving side of it works is by keeping it dry, I'm really too tired to be getting into an argument over something so trivial.

At the end of the day it's down to the customer and what they want, the benefits are for the customer to consider, not as a sales pitch.

And finally to G_M, I'm sorry but I didn't realise I was engaging in a sales pitch????
Looks like the well educated few on MSE know it all and the rest of us and the thousands of customers who get their roof sealed know nothing. How silly of me...

I must say when i first starting reading Louis 1st post i thought it was spam, however on reading it again & his other posts (& admitting he put the wrong figures down) i'm not so sure, i did goggle isoseal & there a number of companies doing it, wether it works or not & wether the claims are in fact correct i don't know, but i do think you guys were too hard on him as he didn't try to link to his company & was just trying to give some insite into the product.

If you have independent, research-based evidence that a a few millimetres of some roof coating provides superior insulating properties than 250mm of traditional roof insulation, please provide links to this evidence.

have you read them ?

i can see nowhere that he meantions 250mm of insulation or in fact any amount.

as far as i can see he's done nothing wrong apart from giving his experience of a product he uses, he doesn't make the product or sell it apart from using it in his business.

just incase you wondered no i have no idea who he is, i just think he is getting a rough ride on this thread

The second part of my post was unrelated to the first. Of course he sells the product he mentions.

but how do you know that ? he said he runs a waterproofing co in the same way i do plumbing & heating & there are things i use & recommend on here & some i say are crap does that make me a spammer too ?
