Music on phone - comes with pictures!!

Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me I bluetoothed some of the songs I have on my laptop to my phone and when I have played them they have picked up one of my pictures as the background and I don't want it there, I did 6 songs and got 2 different pics I have deleted one of the pictures and ALL the songs and resent them and they are still showing the picture. It is one of my Mum and Dad and don't get me wrong I love my Mum and Dad dearly but don't want it as a background to my music. Any suggestions?

Kind of a mood killer is it? Could you tell us what phone you have, primarily interested in the operating system. i.e. android, ios, windows, symbian, other.
  • No not a mood killer just annoying that i can't get rid of it, had it before but managed to solve it by re-sending last time. I'm on Samsung Galaxy fit and android system.

If you open up your Music Player. Open the settings, and Tick the Visualisation option. This will now product a visualisation when you play music rather than an image.

What is actually happening at the moment is that the media player is unable to locate album/track artwork so it picks a random image from your files. By enabling the option above you won't see them any more.

Another alternative would be to download a different media player from the Google Play store. Lots of very good free ones.
  • I don't actually have a music player, but where I play my music doesn't have a variations option, the only things I have are add to playlist, shuffle, general music options. The only settings I have give the option of 5.1 surround (I think) or equalizer

You do have a music player (it's what is playing your music) you just aren't opening the app directly, it is automatically starting up. If you open your App Drawer there will be an app, likely called 'Music'. Open it up and access the settings from there.
  • Not sure what you mean by app drawer, have been on settings then applications but not sure if that's the right thing and if it is then I still can't find settings, sorry to appear a bit thick, I do appreciate your help.

Your App Drawer is the window where all of your apps are located. So when you look at all your Apps there will be one called Music.

On your phone it is the icon on the bottom right (blue square with 4 dots)

  • Just to add, I have downloaded a different media player and the pics are still there and still no settings to change visualization unless I am doing something wrong lol!

Morning! When you open up the Music icon with the CD as you described you then press the bottom left button on your phone. The one on your phone itself, not the screen. It's this one with the square on three sides and two horizontal lines in the middle. This will give you access to the settings.G-Fit%203.jpg
