    Hugs to cy's dd.

Well, I never had my nap. Couldn't nod off. Had a little read, then got up and got chopping veggies for soup:

I'm trying a new one today. Carrot and coriander soup, in my slow cooker. I've done a couple of onions and a big bunch of carrots in a little butter in a pan, until the onions were slightly softened. Have chucked in sc with two veg stock cubes and some water to cover, and will leave overnight. It smells good. I will add a big bunch of the coriander in the morning.

I do hope it's good. My friend is vegan, she's just had a c section today, so I thought I could take her a couple of portions when I'm *invited* to meet the new arrival. I should get about 5 or 6 portions I hope.

During which I had the drill on charge, and I have put up one of the curtain rails. I now have curtains (recycled from when decorated spare room) at the landing window, for the first time. We've only lived here 5.5yrs. :D

Time for a cuppa before I go collect the little ones!

  • I'd love to join in with this please. I need something that will help me focus on making and keeping the house organised and tidy. I manage for work (am a secondary teacher) and would love to be able to be as organised and tidy when I'm at home.

Hi catslovelycats, and welcome! I am still relatively new to this site, and it certainly does make a difference - even if you don't follow every list it really helps you focus on what needs to be done, and I love your name! I love cats and think they are lovely!! I look forward to hearing how you get on, and everyone here will tell you - take one step at a time; start with level ones and see how you go from there. Good luck, R. x
