    Morning all,

Woke early but have been laying in bed reading my book with a cuppa :D, very cold and damp here this morning, but bright, got our bedding in the wm, will put dd's in after, should dry well today.

DD is seeing her dad today, she has not seen him for a while due to her working, they are on a mission to get her some black trousers today for her new job, she has jeans and leggings but needs proper trousers.

Dinner tonight will be soup and sandwiches, so nice and easy.

Doing very well on the xmas shopping just mum OH and dd to buy for, will start to get an extra bottle of wine etc this week, the sistercas fund has really helped, still paying in my £7 per week, I am going to up it to £10 from next year, you dont really miss it, but it really helps :T

Bitsy I hope today goes ok for you all xx

    Have good days all xx

DH and DD have gone car booting (indoor one) at the village cricket club.
I have another half a bag of onions to pickle or they will go rotten in the shed, some had sprouted so I have planted them out, with a bit of luck they will take.
I am going to make the Christmas cake sometime next week.
    bargainbird is Maude still improving?

Molly has Lou named the baby yet?

halight sorry to hear things are tough at the moment (((Hugs)))

Oh well best get peeling, that is the only trouble with pickled onions they take an age to peel.

Morning all - cold but bright here. I'm a Bond widow; DH has discovered a Sky channel that just shows 007 stuff. Had lovely Lidl roast beef last night with roasties and peas, and will have it again with broccoli/cauli cheese today. The remains will do us for stirfries and curries. I was going to take books to Oxfam yesterday but my back wasn't having any of it pushing the trolley. All 9 cats are inside and are laying claim to their winter territory. The newest arrival has colonised the draining board; he's asleep with both back feet over his ears. Think I'm just going to have a lazy day and potter around doing laundry; will send DH out shopping for his lunch stuff later. Have a good day everyone :)

    Morning all,

Have drunk far too much wine this weekend so feeling delicate. Our friends didn't leave until gone one. Had a great night and the food was fab but I'm back on the Ww bandwagon today.
Tea tonight will be salad fish and new potatoes. I don't mind a salad whatever the weather.
It's cold and frosty but looking like its going to brighten up. I am excited to use my full length washing line that dh put up yesterday, how exciting is my life :rotfl:
Need to pop to the shop for some bits.
Had a visit from DGS and dd yesterday. He was in a very grumpy mood. Decided he would choose his own snack and proceeded to pick a plain slice of bread little monkey, lots of hands on hips lol
So today will be mainly sitting in front of the tv and recovering, catching up with strictly.
Bitsy I feel for you, I would be exactly the same:(:(

    Have a good Sunday all j x

  • Morning all! :hello:

Blooming freezing here again - am sat here with dressing gown over my clothes and sheepskin boots on indoors! OH is still in bed, am debating whether to leave him (stressful times) or force him to get up and be useful. More of the same today - frantic ebaying and making. Sigh. Still, could be so much worse... trying to count my blessings a bit more today.

    Hi all.

Cold but sunny in the Land of the Concrete Cows, so I have bedlinen out on the line.;)

Redruby thank you so much for the tip about pineapple for mouth ulcers:A - I had some last night, and they are actually not quite so bad this morning!:T I shall continue for at least til they're gone; I'm also leaving my lower plate out (sorry if TMI) for now - I have a pashmina wrapped round my face, burkha-style.:D And we've altered the meal plan to have soup for the next three days - Mr LW will help make it; he's asked that we have onion soup today, as it's one of his favourites.:D

I always have some pineapple in the house, diced and frozen, as I use it in several recipes.:o

Mr LW is currently doing this week's ironing;:A after which hopefully he'll give the car it's weekly once-over (tyres, oil, wash-bottle, all that sort of thing) then I suppose we'll need to start making the soup.:o

Lots more Well Doggy vibes for Maud.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
