    I am not a sparky but am a trained signaller so it's the same for signal equipment and Antennae and Propagation of signal, that's only reason I know. Plus had to learn wiring etc. to do my job.

    When I was in school peak was 1.4 x RMS so 320 (ish) for uk mains

    Me too although I though it closer to 340V peak but no point in arguing. However I said peak to peak not just peak. :)
