Hi!
I think these diaries are such a great idea so here I am! I have a partner who works however I am a stay at home Mummy to Two and 34 weeks pregnant with baby no3! Since I stopped working 3 years ago we have been in an overdraft in both a single and joint account! In the last year my OH had to use a credit card and unfortunately never got paid off!
So that is my intro, I want to pay the overdraft off with my OH helps as well as get rid of that credit card! I already have started budgeting but I know there is so many other ways to earn and get rid of unwanted debts.
I will be back soon with my budget plans

Ok! My plan for tomorrow is to go to the bank and get 2 printed Mini statements so I know exactly the figures to get out of the overdrafts. Plus my OH WILL ring up the credit card company and set up a monthly direct debit!!
I will redo a direct debit spreadsheet later when the children go to bed.
My budgets so far are
£50 a week on food.= £200 a month
I have spend a lot on cleaning products recently but did a great thing the other day and bought washing powder from ebay that I saw mentioned on mse. I am spliting the 3 bags between my mum and friend so will have just under £20 coming back to me in the next few days. The bag is double the amount I have been using so should last me 8 months as half that amount has lasted me since June! So I will not be buying washing powder for a while.
My 2 other buys are washing up liquid and kitchen anti bac. Need to look at my old receipts and see if cheaper to buy the washing up liquid on ebay!
My daughter now goes to preschool but I still pay £2 a day dinner for 3 days a week so works out approx £24 a month.
I try my best not to go playbarns as Ive paid nearly £10 before drinks, it is ridiculous! I like to take my son to a playgroup which costs £2.50 a week for entry, drinks and biscuits. So £10 a month for that.
Weekend spends depend but if I am sticking to a budget I would say £25 a month.
I buy wipes from £ stretcher for £1 for 2 packs- I use approx 2 a week so this is £4 a month. nappies are £5 from Aldi, I spend about £15 a month on DS and my DD should be completely out of pull ups v soon so no need to buy any more. I am considering cloth nappies but need to look for the perfect one for no3 as my DS trialed one at about 5 months and it just didnt work for him.
So this is
£200-food
£5 cleaning products
£24- DD preschool fees
£10- Playgroup
£25- weekend spends
£20- Nappies and Wipes
= £284
Costs to consider= Christmas and Birthdays, Clothes, Baby Equipment, bits and bobs for children
Now I am going to join in the Challenges
