My son has asked me if we could get a new memory card for his PS2. Do I have to buy the PS "Official" memory card or is there a generic that I can buy cheaply online? He is only ickle so while he can play the games like a master, he isn't quite techie au fait just yet
Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

Any generic PS2 one will do fine. No need to buy the expensive Sony ones

I bought a non-Sony one on eBay and it worked ok.
Have a browse on Play.com http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searchtype=PS2&searchstring=memory&page=search&pa=search0 -
It might not say that its for a psp on the card. But the type you looking for is called MemoryStick Pro DuoThe Optimist and the Pessimist
The difference is a drollThe Optimist sees the doughnut

The originals are only £20 from the High Street, so by the time you add in p&p and waiting for delivery IMHO its sometimes easier to pick one up when shopping..0

Erm the poster was saying about a card for PS2 NOT PSP
They are 2 totally different cards I think? My PS2 one certainly looks nothing like the PSP ones I saw in the shop today.0 -
