Are you sure you weren't told to read the manual?

It looks like a decent coffee maker so the fault probably lies in your technique.

haha... no i have read the manual and it has 4 modes.
people have said use the manual mode to make a good latte.
I have no doubt its my technique but have no idea how to fix it and its driving me crazy. it keeps producing weak coffee. now the manual says use the manual mode and you can adjust how much water goes in....but i cant figure out how..

Try a different strength coffee, maybe the one you are using is too weak or you need to use more.

so ive used 2 different types.

    costa and starbucks.

I have used different amounts. The setting says I can control the brew time but i know im simply being thick and cant figure it out.

it says by pressing the brew buttn on and off i can control it but if i switch it off it simply stops producing any coffee so i have a mini amount!!

    I wanna latte!!!:(

Control the brew time making an espresso? You shouldn't have to control anything (other than temperature, but I doubt that's causing a problem).

This may seem like a silly question, but you are using the right amount of coffee for each espresso shot right? And you aren't running too much water through each time?

  • Latte is 1/3 espresso and 2/3 steamed milk, all you need is a good shot and some steamed milk which bit are you struggling with?

Put the espresso maker into the brew option and then make an espresso. Turn to the off position when you have enough. Then you will need to steam the milk, make sure you use a cold container for this and the milk is semi skimmed or less than 2% fat. Once it is steamed and can take some getting used to, you need to pour about 1/4 fo the Espresso and 3/4's of the steamed milk into a cup at exactly the same time.

Now OP, when I have a problem with a piece of equipment, the first thing I think of is NOT, "I know, I'll ask on MoneySaving Expert."

The first place I go to is the manufacturer's website. You surely did this before you came here, but just in case you didn't, I visited them and found these FAQs which answer the questions you posed here.
