Ninth Anniversary
Good Evening Elite :)

So sorry I have not been online for ages but before my head was in the shed so to speak.

Firstly thank you so much everyone for your kind words over Dad and Stinky and Michjay thank you for the pms which I really do appreciate :A

Well Dad has started 4 weeks of treatment yesterday so fingers crossed that it will have the effect it needs?

How is everyone?

I tell you I have been feeling so down but strangely enough I feel picked up now, its hard to explain? I could not have cared about a glitch before even if Tesco/Asda were giving everything away free. (I just felt like nothing mattered and I felt really drained) I can't really explain it properly but I'm sure you all get the idea?

So have I missed much at all? I do hope everyone is ok? I do still think though of Cosmic Dust has anyone heard from her at all?

Hope Magicowen is still doing ok with her smoking? Hope all the Lala's are ok too and your lovely Ds has settled into uni life? How are baby Ben and Polly? How is the cove for Jamsponge? Also Fairclaire how are you hunny? Stinky as always I hope you are ok? Oh and can't forget the Stokie contingent: Noony and Savannah hope all is well with you two? Also how is my favorite door handle, Locarr?

I haven't got a hope of catching up but I do hope that I can get back to regular posting on here and resume some normality in my life.

Its onwards and upwards now hopefully I am trying to take a more positive approach to things. But sometimes you have to retreat into yourself to come back out the otherside.

I hope that everyone is ok and so sorry for what I have missed, anyone struggling, birthdays, births, marriages etc etc.

Big hugs to all the lovely Elite I hope that peace and tranquilty has been restored and the regulars have returned. Fudgecake I know you were sorely missed by all and I would like to get to know you. :) Also how is my favorite sock monkey Tyzer?

Sorry I can't mention you all as I would be here for ever and a day. :rotfl:Celebrate I haven't forgot your wonderful help with the toothpaste. :D

Budgie is back and has an itch for a glitch, I know there is a user with that name too. ;)

Lots of love everyone
Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.

It's once the spots are scabbed over that your not contagious. Unfortunately my youngest hasn't had her spots yet so is contagious without knowing it. It's half term this week in Nottingham so lots of activities have been cancelled, including the pumpkin trail we do as a birthday tradition :-(

Oh, yes it's our half term we are in Cornwall both our kids had chicken pox on holiday our ds1 in Kent and we got to see the flying doctor at Kent airport, as we did not know what it was,he only had spots on his groin area, atleast you can spend se quality time at home. Sorry but we will all raise a glass to you tomorrow.
Don't forget to buy more door stops when they are cheap!they vanish on moving day.I am busy making lasagnes and various dishes to freeze as my D/D will be home for a reading week in a couple of weeks and will take them back.My advice still stands good on don't lend money,we had lots of problems with house mates not paying their share of the bills and this has toughened up my D/D for future.
I'm back from whoopsie shopping and I'm so glad I went... will tell you my finds in a min but before i forget, I did see cheap rubber door stops, 3 or 4 in a pack for 98p:D They are in the aisles with the cheap/random items that all cost less than £1.

None of my stores have the cheap lines, is there a way of knowing which ones do as I really want the £1 lenor.
