Hi sorry if this has been posted, but went into Tesco first thing looking for lynx, coming out without checking on the cheese - went back and the big empty hole was fillled up - twin 350g pack SEL of £5.55 (£1 off) - took one to the scanner and whoopie - £1.00. I would just check on scanner first in case of a store correction (as happened in my other local superstore).

Was most disappointed to see it's the Man Utd game on council telly tonight!
Barcelona v Celtic is a far more attractive prospect :p:D

    Morning all

Off to work this morning unfortunately. A nice coupon shop to look forward to afterwards though so that'll help ease the pain :rotfl:

  • Good morning

It's a bit dull in Porthleven this morning, took dog out for walk with the kids, who fought all the way round and then the dog jumped on ds2's bed with muddy paws so that was all 3 of us in trouble.

Off to Falmouth now see you later.

My DD is in her last year at uni, she and 2 friends are planning on setting their own business up when they graduate. They have just heard they have been accepted for a special grant of £2500 to go towards business cards etc. They were 1 of 5 groups chosen for this. I am a very proud mummy.:j

Thats brilliant, you deserve to be a proud mummy:T:T:T
Truly Madly, he's doing Criminology & Criminal Justice and has just been given his first assignment and says he doesn't know where to start. I have told him there must be lots of people to help at uni but he doesn't know who to ask. He is a young 20 yr old, small for his age (looks 13/14!) My last one to fly the nest so it's stressfull knowing he's lonely.

I feel for you:(DS told me yesterday he was doing an "allnighter" in the library yesterday:eek::eek:Didnt have a clue what he meant but apparently work had to be in today and he hadn't finished it so was up all night doing it!!
Before my DS went to uni last month he was given a bit of advice that worked wonders;)Someone told him to get a door stop and prop his room door open, that way people walking past would see him and often pop their head in and say hello. He did it and it's obviously worked because I think his room is "Party central" now;)

Morning everyone just having a catch up then heaps of work to do:(Bit damp and miserable here today.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
