My DD is in her last year at uni, she and 2 friends are planning on setting their own business up when they graduate. They have just heard they have been accepted for a special grant of £2500 to go towards business cards etc. They were 1 of 5 groups chosen for this. I am a very proud mummy.:j

    Excellent news congratulations

Looks like Tesco are trying to do something about it:-

We are working with Fareshare, a charity that redistributes surplus food through its community food network working with disadvantaged people. We also work with Company Shop, a business that sells-on surplus products through a network of staff shops. Company Shop contributes a percentage of the return from the sale of any Tesco brand product to Tesco nominated charities, which includes Fareshare.

We are trialling these schemes with depots, stores and in conjunction with a number of our suppliers to redistribute the limited amount of surplus food fit to eat. In both cases the surplus food is redirected for consumption rather than being sent down a waste disposal route

thankyou but when staff are telling me they are compacting it out the back i dont consider the above to be enough when they could do more at no or very little cost

Forgot to say I got a small DTD on the lenor 42 wash in Summer Breeze (yellow) SEL and big end of aisle promotion said £2 but I was charged £3.37 and didnt notice until I got home.
Phone call to CS and a £5 gift card on it's way. This is in addition to the £5 gift card I got in store, when the till roll jammed and I didn't get my £5 off £40.....I wish it would jam more often ;):D
I'd used two coupons on it too :T

That happened to me today too..paid £3.37 for lenor and i was sure it said £2.....idnt do anything about it cos i thought it must have been my mistake....may just ring CS now I've read this !
