Good grief, disgusting - has anyone else been told this as well?

If I was told this I would be kicking up a stink - starting with a letter to our local paper as we have a food bank starting up, then a letter to our local MP telling him about the food bank and what I'd been told by tosco HQ and then a letter to tosco HQ to ask if this was really the case, also about food banks etc

I had noticed over the last week or so that although there are doughnuts and croissants reduced there never seems to be any bread. Just been in my local store and the bakery section was heaving with bread all with todays date. So I presume this will all be thrown away. Also a couple of Sunday's ago there were a lot of Roast chickens left and when I asked whether they would be reduced she said maybe later. ( this was 3.30 on a Sunday afternoon!!)
So something very strange going on I think!!

Fab news, I expect she just came home all by herself, just strolled in ....

I think our Sophie has been eating rabbit, no interest in her dinner last night and when we went to bed her stomach was making the most peculiar loud gurgling noises :rotfl:

We know the bakery girl in our sainsburys, she has worked there for ages. She was spitting feathers the other day. She said they now have to do 2 stage reductions - so she has to take a few pence off first and then go around and do final reductions later - ie almost twice the job.

Watching a cookery programme once it said that home made cookies can only cost 40p or less to make so I never buy them now unless they are less than 40p :D
