I'm still working on getting my kids to recognise what a laundry bin is!
My DS has been taught where the laundry bin is in his room... without fail he puts his clothes in there every night. OH thought i was being mean but I told him DS needs to take responsibility for himself (at 3! he he;)):rotfl::rotfl: It is true thoughTiger

See you lovely folks later .
I just purchased the original Doom for the tablet (£1.30) , that'll keep me busy for a day or 3 .
It takes me back to my first console playing days ,the N64 (I'm a late starter) .
Bang Bang .
Spent many hours playing Doom I,II but got stuck on the very last level of DoomII. Think I must have spent as much time trying to complete the last level as the rest of the series put together:rotfl:
My other favourite games were the Command and Conquer/Red Alert series+ the Lucas arts puzzle games like Monkey Island, Indiana Jones etc. Don't seem to get the time these days to play games:(Awaiting a new sig0 -
Our cat who I inherited from my friends is called Kitten and the stray who lives in the shed who has 3 legs is called Tripod
I named my mum's last cat, no one could think of what to call her so for the first week she was called 'cat'. I didn't like that as felt she should have a proper name (I was 16 at the time)
We done the usual of going round everyone and asking what she should be called but no one could agree on a suitable name.
I came across the name 'Kedi'. Everyone thought it was good so that's what we called her, best about it is she was still called 'cat' as it's Turkish for cat :rotfl:SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Following my powercut this morning, my son informed me that the school bus couldnt get into the village and he had an exam at 9 oclock!!
After racing around like a loony I dropped him into school then decided as I was part of the way there I'd carry on towards Plymouth and go to the big Extra. No cheese, chokabloks full price, and no copier paper......
but I got 12 cans of reloaded,
TDK DVD-R 25pk discs SEL £6.99 scanned at £1.99 bc 4161
Tesco own brand optical mouse model 109 bc 3676 SEL £4.99 scanned £1.24
Papermate flexigrip ultra 5pk Grey SEL around £4 scanned 50p bc 4980
And the same in blue scanned at 75p bc 4997
I did a coupon shop whilst there and spent £44.67 but paid £6.35 and should get a pp on the reloadeds :T
Then I went back in did a small shop of 8 items and got another 8 reloadeds in the cough mixture flavour.
That's it as far as the reloadeds go for me, this is the only store within a 40 mile radius that stocks them!
A heads up for the Plymothians......Roborough Store is getting the hand held scanners this week according to the SA in Lee Mill this morning. That means all three of the bigger stores in South Devon will have them :T:TMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Fab cakes Tiger (and cookies too - I've got some oat and raisin ones in the oven just now).
Right off to check on my cookies...............Not sure if you have a B&M near you, but they have the silver spoon marzipan at only 49p.... these retail in my local Morrisons at £3.49!housewifeintraining wrote: »Afternoon all
just put baby down for another nap - his cold is making him a bit of a grumpy pants today
loving the cakes Tiger - can I ask how you do the icing please, do you ice it all in one go or do the sides and top seperately? I'm not very good at the icing bit yet so some advice would be great
Also, use a piece of string to measure the circumference of the cake, then put the side bit of icing on according to the string length.. It means you don't have to guess or have loads of off cuts left.Tiger

Well Ive just been assorting my coupons before the recycling ceromony. I cant tell you what there are on MSE as its not allowed.
But if you also belong to Paid to Shop, put "giveaways" in the search box you will find my list, mainly Sainsburys and Tesoc spares. (I suppose you can register as well on PTS, its somewhere else to go when its gets quite over here or even worse when the rabble arrives)

What an awful thing for both you and your kids to be subjected to - I'd have probably lost the rag if it had been me just through the sheer shock of it all and made it worse no doubt. Makes you wonder what on earth goes on behind folks' door - her poor kids
Hope you are all okay now0 -

If you cant find the peachy coloured cap (b/c 679) then the purple cap compares too. Think its black orchid and jasmine or something like that.Tiger
