I know that feeling. And it is very easy to just keep going, building that stash and stockpile. But after a while you realise that there will always be very cheap or free laundry stuff, always be another glitch on the horizon, always be some free food along the way, and then you can relax a bit and have like a "control" month where you run down stockpiles a bit and spend very very little. These times are a wonderful bonus and you will have plenty of NSDs :)
Thats so true:T:TI am actually having 3 or 4 no spend days on the trot and love it.At the moment I'm trying not to buy whoopsies as trying to get the freezers down for Xmas;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

tescos just got back to me (that was quick) and the lady said that if it 1p 2p etc then the manufactures want it back so i asked why they put it in an compounder out the backof shop and she said that just for out of date stuff , not non-food

I DONT BELIVE THIS and think they are just trying to fob me off the lady said its a strange question and shes never been asked this before

(i felt like saying not to my MSE friends ) but didnt

[STRIKE] There is a link to a news article about 1p finds on post #1[/STRIKE]

OK, so it looks like Post #1 has some broken links on it. I'll PM CoT the correct details to get them fixed

In the meantime, here is a newspaper article about the 1p items:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1314395/Tesco-shoppers-flock-bargains-sale-just-1p.html

And here is the most important quote:
A Tesco spokesman said: ‘This is no computer glitch. These are discontinued products which have gone beyond the "reduced to clear" period.

'Our view is it is better these items are sold rather than being thrown away.
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
  • i find it all strange as i think they make it up as they go along

i would be sacked if i worked in supermarket:eek: i wouldnt be able to put stuff in bin i find it so hard
i never waste anything i freeze everything even eggs (just crack in to sanwich bag and freeze
i keep all tubs even butter ones as you can put stuff in freezer in them also mushroom trays to make stuff with my OH is slowly getting used to it . iv got a garge i keep all my plastics and things in so house dosnt get cluttered in i never recycle them as i re-use them which is better me and kids alway making things . me and the kids made our own instruments with rice and sand and plastic botles and tubs was so much fun

    am i mad??

    Not mad, a nice, eco-friendly mum :D

cant remember who was asking earlier about an electric heater....but I saw some halogen room heaters at A earlier...£20.96 each....there were lots of them outside in an undercover display with plants and outdoor type stuff, so not sure whether this is store specific of stock to clear...also not sure how effective or costly they will be to run, but thought it was a good price for a heater :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Just been looking for a pop up laundry bin for DS at uni, and found this one for £2.81 (The black is £5.50!!) Looks like it'll do the job so just ordered one, cheapest I've seen and can't go wrong at that price;)

That's the easy part - he then has to take it to the launderette!:rotfl:

I got 3 packets the other day, not my usual store, as thought it was a good offer to have a try at winning one anyway. One of my 3 was a winner but when I popped to my local Ts there is not a single pack of Maltesers to be seen. There was few days ago as I picked a couple up but put them back down again as didn't really have a clue where I was meant to be looking for signs they were a winner. Very odd.
