Disgraceful. I was told last week that once the hot chickens get cold, they can't sell them. They are put into the incinerator. I also saw huge bin bags of the olives, feta ect that they have on the deli, being thrown away. Criminal. :(

i find it all strange as i think they make it up as they go along

i would be sacked if i worked in supermarket:eek: i wouldnt be able to put stuff in bin i find it so hard
i never waste anything i freeze everything even eggs (just crack in to sanwich bag and freeze
i keep all tubs even butter ones as you can put stuff in freezer in them also mushroom trays to make stuff with my OH is slowly getting used to it . iv got a garge i keep all my plastics and things in so house dosnt get cluttered in i never recycle them as i re-use them which is better me and kids alway making things . me and the kids made our own instruments with rice and sand and plastic botles and tubs was so much fun

Since joining this thread I have saved a ruddy fortune, have a lovely stockpile, coupons galore and had lots of fun :D

    BUT...

I've failed miserably at the No Spend Day Challenge

    :D:o

I know that feeling. And it is very easy to just keep going, building that stash and stockpile. But after a while you realise that there will always be very cheap or free laundry stuff, always be another glitch on the horizon, always be some free food along the way, and then you can relax a bit and have like a "control" month where you run down stockpiles a bit and spend very very little. These times are a wonderful bonus and you will have plenty of NSDs :)
