The very heart of this thread has been put under severe strain over the last few weeks - loads of glitches happening at a rate of knots things got messy when certain people got silly and or greedy. Enough said about that.
What really matters is the ethos of this thread is still intact - and I hope nobody ever ever destroys that no matter how hard they try.
You have only to read the posts by 3Dogs, Fudge2, Saversue, Spiraling Down, Vanilla Twist and several others that come to mind to see what is truly imprtant. I have been in tears reading the posts of these people as I can so associate with many of them. Let us not forget that many many people are battling evry single day of their lives to live, survive and manage their particular struggles in life. Life can be so damnably difficult at times but we should be as grateful as we can for what we have - as somebody said - Cheese? Good, but its not what is truly important.
Imagine being in the shoes of the family that Fudge2 wrote about with the young Mum who has two children and has terminal cancer. Would anybody want to be in their position? My heart goes out to them - as it does to all the other peeps struggling.
I truly hope that today is a better day for everyone struggling - ((hugs)) to you all.
If this post contributes towards helping the thread return to its former glory it will make my rant worthwhile.
Good Morning All.
I felt this post needed reposting it is so true, thank you for sharing you thoughts with us Thrifty Sister .
Sending big hugs to Mrs 3 Dogs, hope you feeling a little brighter today.
Glad the cove is blue today Jamsponge.
Big hugs to all those who need it.
I would like to share a smile and pass it on:).
I am going in search of cheese i am member of the no cheese club. My local store just removes price errors immediately, the manager also never puts out coupon mags , i thnk he just does not like saving his customers money:(
Oh well better try further afield.
have a good day all:j:j:j0 -
Before i go Ditzy i had this problem with my DS and i solved it eventually. I put everything that was on the floor into a black bin bag while he was school and put the bag in the wheelie bin.
:D
When he came home he asked where his stuff was and went and got it out out of the bin :rotfl:
This went on for months til eventually his room started to look a tad tidier .
Tweets. I think I will have to remember this one for when mine are a bit older. I could enjoy this :rotfl:Smileand hopefully the world will smile back

Waiting for my Mum to come round to discuss what to do about DD. I am at wits end now regarding her tidying her bedroom, it's gone on for 12 months:mad: I'm tempted to photograph it and post it on her facebook:D(joke)
Massive hugs to everyone who needs one. 3Dogs hope you feel better this morning.
Hope everyone has a great day.0 -
Good morning Elite
Well my cheese got substituted on my on line order yesterday. I'd ordered for other people so the 25 multi was replaced with 20 singles for £25. Not as good a deal and I know I could complain but I've sold 14 of them for £1.25 each so with that and the £10 off first order, £3 off dairy and 1000 clubcard points I didn't do too badly!
What's this I'm reading about Mr T's and coupons?! I used the Nouvelle in there yesterday no problems. Better get cracking on catching up and maybe draft some emails! x
iwhat size single pack was it the 600g one otherwise i would be ringing up and asking why i havent got the full equivalent in weight and im only paying for the weight been delivered0 -
Once a photo is out there, it is out there
If it cant be downloaded they can still do a screen grab (as we sometimes do With MOCs)
Your only options are to block your "friend" or not post photos
Many thanks aau1 - that is what I feared. It's not really a big deal. I should be smiling she likes my photo enough to recycle it!!!!0 -
hi all.

And by the way, not into facebook cos people try to talk to you and people that you haven't spoke to since school will be trying to talk to you:rotfl:

We have 2 called Rhubarb & Custard. Rhubarb has been missing for 3 weeks. I am beside myself with worry. Not sure what else i can do. Been out walking every night, notified the local rescue centres and told the micro chipping company.
Ignore what others say, I have posted here daily (Ok not much but a few posts a day) but have not posted on facebook since the 13th, there are a few reasons, I am covering for the supervisor while she's off visiting a huge mouse in USA so my work load is huge, also my nan (92 on friday) has had a stroke, but shes on the mend - tough old bird
The nonsense and bickering is pretty tiresome and not something I wish to get involved in I admin for a living and see enough internet idiots :rotfl:
Sorry to hear about your nan, but great that she is on the mend:)
Morning everyone:)Really feels like the weathers turning and getting chilly now:(Time to sort out the jumpers and boots I think. Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
