  • I once lost an envelope with a big sum of cash in. Thought my heart was going to implode. There are some VERY honest people out there. Always felt gutted I couldn't thank that person.

I can't honestly say if I would have previously handed in £10 if found before that, now I would. We never know how important that £10 or whatever is to someone. Plus, we have to live with ourselves.

Strange about the experience some of you guys are having with coffee BBE's. All of mine are long dated. The earliest end date is April 2013 and trust me, my whole stash will be long gone before then. I don't think it' suniversal, although I was one of the first to see the deal posted by Valli so maybe they are whelling out the older stuff now realising they can make a few quid....

There was a post I quoted from the discount code section from the non drivel thread that stated the poster had on the off chance tested out the milk tray glitch and it worked. They didn't like that i had quoted the post over here and as such deleted their post. So only a select few were in the know...until last night.

This is where secret missions, hiding things are coming from. Yet they are happy taking stuff from previous threads. Best Price does a dam good job keeping them up to date with all the relevant stuff. If you need a quick catch up that thread has it withouit all the carp that occurs on here.

Sorry but you are wrong with your theory WH, the reason the said poster did not want the post over here was due to the fact the glitches seem to be getting fixed as soon as they are mentioned here. Not because it is some sort of secret society - anyone can see the posts on there just like any part of MSE.

Numerous invites have been put out on here for people to go over to the drivel thread but they were not taken up. It is not a take all thread in any way shape or form, it is in fact a very small version of how this Elite thread used to be...and yes BP does bring over updates and it is greatly appreciated for it.

I handed in a ring once, found it in the street. Gold with diamonds and some kind of very pale green central stone, took it to the local police station. No-one collected it so I picked it up. I know it is legally mine, but can't bring myself to sell it or anything, keep thinking it might mean something to someone. Even advertised it in a local shop window with a picture in black and white (with the identifying scratch not shown, definitely an old scratch) saying could they come forward. Had a couple of phone calls off people saying it must have been found in X etc, found out it did not belong to them (identifying marks including colour of stone), so promptly took that ad down! Still sitting in my jewellery box with a big fat question mark next to it!!

I have decided that I am no longer going to read the thread after the folks start mouthing off.

Right, done a few bits and bobs, all the washing on the line (even though it does look like rain!!), now off to try to find some chestnuts. CU all later:hello::hello:

By the way - 72 days till Christmas

Yes last night was absolutely shocking. The way some people behaved on this thread was completely out of order and the last time I saw anything like that was on the House Prices thread back in 08!!

WHilst I don;t particularly want to read that tripe and drivel, I think it did bury a few good snippets for those that were keeping up so something good may have come out of it.

I can assure you, as someone who spends half my time in Kemp Town, that Brighton is not all like the Brighton Pavilion. Living there is very different to day trips. In fact you describe it VERY well above :rotfl:

:O i use to live in br1ghton it was always nice when i was there, just again a couple places to watch out for but thats like anywhere :)

E/bourne is the place to be for boring quiet nothing to do ever type living experiences :D

stalk them & hope they panic & give in
