Off to wash my hair and watch x Factor, I hope Rylan goes home
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

During DS's first year at uni he took up skydiving:eek::eek::eek:

If it's anything like where I did my jumps, the training is really strict.

I was trained by ex-marines and oh my god, if you yawned or lost eye contact with them for a second during training, you were made to do 20 push ups infront of everyone!!!
I've never sat up so straight and paid attention so much in all my life! :rotfl:

  • Just got to catch up on 20 pages!!

Took DS to see Madagascar 3 before heading up to check on girl in hospital. Didn't take DS as her sister said she was unrecognisable and didn't want DS to get frightened.
Should have known better than to listen to what her sister had said, I picked the aunt up so she could visit too and both of us were surprised at how good she looks. She's very precise about how she looks and never goes out without everything 'just so' We were saying that she'll probably boss everyone around to do her hair and make-up and weren't far wrong! She has only a few bruises on her eye but the rest of her face was perfect, whereas the sister told us her whole face was damaged, cuts and bruises everywhere.
She has broken ribs 1 - 11 and her collar bone. They thought she had spinal damage so put an epidural in yesterday morning to keep her still and pain free but today she's able to move her arms and legs. X-rays on spine came back clear late last night so they stopped the epidural pump and gave her a morphine button thingie, which is now her new best friend!
She doesn't remember a thing about what happened but cops want to speak to her as they have witnesses who have told them about events after the ambulance was called and when they got there, I can say no more though and we've been told not to speak to her about it.

    Anyway back to catching up
Hope Auntielala is ok, just read she was in hospital, sending hugs to all the lalas.
Hope your race went well Laura and OH.

You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

just catching up on all the chat. The space jump was amazing - I sat glued to it on lap top and had to admit to having a lump in my throat when he jumped and a few tears in my eyes when he landed safely... but what a honey he is, gorgeous!!
