    Morning MSE'rs!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Thanks Wannabee- definite food for thought. I have been looking at some cats over the weekend online :-)

On Eb@y I had bought my mum a rocking chair which I had to pick up from Plymouth (2hours away). We have been struggling to get down there at a convenient time. The lady was getting a little arsey so I agreed to go down to pick it up at 7.15pm yesterday. (hubby was none too pleased) I had forgotten shops would close and we would have loads of time to kill. However it was great in the end.!

The girls eyes tests were first thing and then we went straight down to Plymouth with a picnic. We got there about 1. We went to the Plymouth Aquarium which was great. DDs loved seeing the sharks! Then we all went to watch Skyfall at Vue (amazing compared to our normal cinema seats!!) and then the kids had a pizza hit dinner for 3.99 each. Hubby and I had a cup of tea and ate when we got home. So not a bad day. Not very MSE though.!

The rocking chair is awesome. Bigger than I thought and great condition. It makes a noise when you rock far back but hubby said it needs a good whack on the bottom. I am really chuffed with it for £41. I just need to make a lovely cushion to sit on it and that is my Mum sorted :-)

A day of work today followed by tea at my mums. Checked banking yesterday and I had no money left. Though I get £134 in my bank today which now needs to last until payday.....quite a challenge!!

Right my stop is coming up (im on the bus)

    Have a great day peeps

Skyfall was pretty good which is huge coming from me as I don't agree with Daniel Craig being a great choic of Bond! But there was lots of action and a bit of humour. The girls were knackered yet managed to stay awake which must mean it was gripping!

That is another thing I would like to do when we are debt free- have one set trip to the cinema once a month.

I am off to see the new Twilight next Thursday with SIL- I am tres excited :D

There are about 6 cats I love on adoption websites at the mo. However I need to get a cat flap fitted first. We have cracked glass in the bottom on the side panel by our front door. I'd like to gt that sorted first.....perhaps I'll look into that tomorrow.

I had a great day at work. I absolutely love that it has been nearly 3 months and I still look forward to going in every morning :D

    MSE things today.
Used chicken from spicy chicken skewers to make fajitas. This used up bits we had to finish up and we are tryin to run down the freezer. Also defrosted a pork casserole and hubby and I took soe each for lunch. Ordered our veg on the local veg box company. I feel really good about buying from local farmers. Cheap prices and free delivery makes it worth while.

Tomorrow I will work our exactly what money I have left to carry me to pay day.

Note to self- photos of kids bike to sell on fb!!!!

Off for snuggles, tea and biscuits with hubby while we watch The Mentalist and Masterchef

Have a great evening everyone xxx OF xxx

    Morning All!

7.30 and I am on my way to work on the bus using my pass. I have used up a wrap from last nights fajitas to make my lunch and we are having Spag bog from stores for tea. MSE indeed.

Not much going on today. Hubby isn't seeing his son tonight which means he will be home with us which is nice. Weds is my worst day usually for Snacking as I wait for him to come back at 8.30pm to have dinner!!

Spotted my £2 jar this morning and realised I haven't put any in for ages. It has £44 in it so I don't want to use it for Xmas now (it's a terramundi pot to break open) so I am wondering if I should keep it for next Xmas. Or save the coins towards our summer holiday in 2013 or save it for spending money on our big Florida holiday in 2014.!

    Not sure which!!

    I hope everyone is well.

I always try to be chirpy :D

Happy I am so jealous- I have to wait over a week! I am Team Jacob. I bought my 16 year old sis a top that said Mrs Edward Cullen for Xmas last year! She loved it.

I think I will meal plan tonight. We are on a roll at the moment.

I agree- holiday it is. I'm thinking perhaps to save for the Florida holiday as it is further away and gives me more time to fill the jar :D

Keep checking banking. I need an amazon payment to come out and then I can budget for the next couple of weeks!

    Hubby is home....off to cook
