Hi all.
Big wave to Pixie!!!
Not too much going on at the moment.
Money for Xmas has taken the limelight. I have overpaid by £300 in Oct and Nov I have just over paid £200. Not amazing but it will be great to actually have money for presents this year!!!
I can technically overpay by £450 a month and hubby by about £200 so I am looking forward to January when we can do this!,
Got some good deals using Mr T 3 for 2 for Xmas.
The list of people we buy for is 49!!!
Ticking a few off slowly.
I have bought my mum a lovely 2nd hand wooden rocking chair on eb@y which I need to pick up and I am going to make her a cushion to go on it
Ordered DD2s wooden kitchen from gltc. It was a bit pricey but we got 15% off and cash back and I am looking at it as a long term kitchen my grand children can use!
DD1 is getting an iPod touch so I will let hubby purchase that.
Off Xmas shopping down to exeter on weds with my mum, aunt and nan which I am really looking forward to.
LOVING work still. I really look forward to going in every morning which is fantastic!
I hope everyone is well. I feel a little deflated that I am not madly debt busting.....though end of dec pay check will be a different story!!Orange Fairy

Woooooah 49 people? What a lovely big family, but costly:o I'm lucky in that I dont have that many to buy for - around 15 I think plus my own 2. I would love the big family though, that would be lovely.
Your overpayments are going to be fantastic soon, I bet you can't wait to throw money at the debts. :TI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Morning everyone

There isn't many people I can cut of the list at them moment.
Everyone on that list are either brothers and sisters, Mums and Dads, Nans and Grandads, cousins, nieces and nephews and my closest friends.
I buy for 3 friends and the 2 children of my best friend. We buy for hubby's bosses 3 kids but only spend about £5 each.
In regards to my cousins they are all a lot younger than me and a lot of the the same age as my children. So I buy for them and my aunts and uncles buy for my children. This will start to stop as more children are born in the family.
Including half sisters and step parents I have 4 parents and 7 siblings! I am lucky hubby's family aren't close. From our list 7 are his family and 3 his bosses kids (plus our two children)
I wanted to make more handmade presents this year like candles, soap and textile projects but I just haven't started early enough. I am making a lot of photo books though
so they are thoughtful and take a lot of time! Orange Fairy

Right my day today......
This morning I will venture downstairs- had a lie in as I was on MSE till half past midnight- to assess if hubby's boys night ruined my sparkling house that I spent so long cleaning yesterday.
Then I have about 30 Halloween cupcakes to make for MILs Halloween party tonight. She has asked for 20, FIL has secretly asked for 6 in a box that he can take to work wih him and I want to take 4 to my Nan and Grandad.
I am looking forwards to th Halloween party. Hubby, BIL and FIL at doing fire workings in the garden, the kids are dressing up and doing pumpkins and we will be having a night time BBQ
My best friend is coming round at 3pm for a couple of hours which will be nice. Need to get the cakes done by then
Then tomorrow we are taking the kids to Crealy Adventur Park down in Exeter. They have a lot of Halloween activities and we have used our Mr T vouchers to buy tickets so it is only the fuel cost.
I am looking forward to this as this half term was the first holidays I didn't get to see them at all really. I have always worked 3 days a week and quite often would work a few extra days beforehand to hae them off. The joys of working full time- I think the fact I love my job so much has softened the blow though! I get all of Xmas off with them though so I will look forward to that.Orange Fairy

Ouch, that's a big list.
I'm quite lucky in a way that my family is fairly small, just one sister and her kids.
I've made lots of frilly scarves this year, and flavoured vodkas to give as gifts. I'm still debating with homemade chocolates, but I have made Christmas puddings for my mum and sister as part of their family gifts. Not too late for food and drink making gifts...
My sister and I have already agreed that we won't get much for each others kids this year as they have loads (including unopened stuff from last year). So just chocolate and edibles really.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
