  • Yeah I think living while making changes to pay this off is the only way this is gonna work for me.

I mean I know that we could have this debt gone in maybe a year or two if we just stayed in all the time & didnt go on holiday but I enjoy living too so I am willing to just take a bit longer for the debt to go.

Finally got round to doing a SOA on our new wages

It doesnt look too bad at all.

I can't wait to have £1200 disposable income when the debts have gone! That is like a holiday abroad with one months left over money!

Had an okay week. Working hard and using my bus pass - £38 for the month is pretty good and I am loving not needing change

Trying to make use of all our veg left from our veg box

Hubby has taken out a pork casserole from the freezer so we can use up the swede and carrots to mash together

We have booked to eat at Barbecoa on friday when we are in London - very excited as it is one of Jamie Olivers restaurants!

REALLY looking forward to the trip away with hubby. We didn't get a honeymoon as we got married in Cyprus last year with our families so everyone was there!

Living on a slightly tight budget till payday - i have over paid quite a bit and we have paid out on the London trip. Need to decide how much to overpay in November and how much to keep back for xmas presents. It will be the first year of no credit card or using Next for any presents which will be a fab feeling :D

Right i need to pester DD1 to do her homework!

    I hope everyone is well

    Hi everyone

Such a mad week. I have been trying to get the chance to post.

Our trip to london was awesome. The 3 course lunch on the Thames was amazing and so was the Jamie Oliver restaurant! I really enjoyed watching Phantom of the Opera. Hubby said we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room and we got free breakfast. That was a little MSE :)

While we had a lovely time I think I will never like London very much! The Thames is actually quite disgusting! Every second person smokes and it is toooooo busy! Was great for a couple of days but I was very please to get back down to our clear air in Devon :D

The London eye was great and hubby got over his fear of heights to look over the edge on the was down!

So not a very MSE weekend at all but it was great. Missed the kids loads. I am completely out of money now! Went out for a meal with my friends last night so I took my last £30 out. So I now se some change to last me until weds! Luckily hubby has been paid so he has some money!

I have decided to only overpay £200 in November and keep £400 for Xmas shopping!

Need to get the box out from under the bed to see what I have already bought!!!

Right my friend has woken up and hubby is cooking us a cooked breakfast......mmmmmmm.....

Just caught up with your diary OF - you weekend sounds fantastic, what a lovely treat for you and hubby:D I don't blame you being happy to get back to where you live - if I lived by Woolacombe I'd not want to go far away;)
