  • Morning MWC, what a wonderful treat this afternoon. I'll be thinking of you when I'm up to my ears in treasures from the loft :rotfl:

What a completely mad place to put the water meter. The guys must have bets to see who loses and has to come and read the meter :)

    Have a fab day, Tilly x x

  • I really enjoyed my afternoon of pampering :D once I got there that is... the main road was closed due to an accident and the alternative route was practically stationary - I was 30 minutes late

Roasted squash, leek & ginger soup for dinner - very tasty but a strange colour because I used the green bit of the leek

    4 eggs today - Mis B, Miss D, Miss H and Miss Q - it was definitely Miss Q today :)

And I will be spending my own money on a 1/2 leg wax before the nice treatments start!

Well, really glad you enjoyed it but I'm still trying to work out why you only had one out of two legs waxed confused-face-smiley-emoticon.gif
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Yuk, it's trying to snow here :(

My brother should be here in a couple of hours. He's going to help me prune my gooseberry bushes and then we are going to visit my mum's grave and have lunch with my dad.

  • Hi MWC, I've often thought about having gooseberries in the garden, do the need to be in the ground or could they cope in big pots?

That's reminded me that two of my blueberry bushes died last year, so need replacements.

    Enjoy your day

    Morning Tilly

My goosegogs are in the ground but you can grow them in pots - this website has some useful information:
