Oh I'm not complaining about the amount - just his behaviour! He always has to put a downer on everything :(

    In other news today:

    - I earn more than Mr MWC again :p
    - split pea & ham soup for dinner
    - 4 eggs (Miss B, Miss D, Miss M and Miss Q)
    - I'm baking a beetroot seed cake this evening as I'm visiting my old workplace tomorrow - my former colleagues appreciate cake much more than my current colleagues:T

    - I have had a lovely day catching up with my old colleagues :)
    - The beetroot seed cake (a Nigel Slater recipe) was exceedingly good
    - I am enjoying sitting in my clean + tidy conservatory - drinking tea, watching chickens and catching up on diaries
    - 3 eggs today (Miss B, Miss D and Miss H)
    - Miss LRH crouched for me today so I'm expecting her first proper egg any day now :D

  • I do have some financial news :rotfl:

Mr MWC sold some shares yesterday :) Approx. £12,000-worth (need to wait for the cheque to arrive from the US for the actual amount) - all profit :T

Not 100% sure what we are going to do with the money yet but he didn't want all his eggs in one basket (still has lot of these shares left to sell). Some will be used to fill a 2013 ISA, some will be used for home improvements, he wants a new computer () but he has said that whatever is left can be used to OP the mortgage :D

HM tomato sauce (from freezer) with pasta for dinner

Dining room has been tidied and cleaned - I've even washed the floor (my least favourite job) :A
