You have a very exotic life MWC - I have been to the US 3 times and that's pretty good going for most people - you seem to be there every other month! :rotfl:0

I must be making it sound more glamorous than it is in real life ed :rotfl:
First US trip of the year (although I'm off to California in June as well :shhh:)Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

13 hours  time for a list!
- ask lovely neighbours to chicken sit as Mr MWC is away as well
- pot up plug plants
- water seedlings
- plant more seeds
- iron (clothes still too wet...)
- pack
- de-fuzz legs
- sleepMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Can you not hit up the stores whilst in the U.S. MWC?
That's what I tend to do if I have the opportunity to get out there. But business trips are sometimes difficult to fit free time in for shopping I know...

I'll try! There's a Target near the hotel but not much else

Haha, yes these things always sound more glamorous and accessible than they actually are. I once spent a week in Madrid, sounded fab but I was based in an industrial estate on the outskirts so nowhere near the lovely centre....0

The conference was good and it was great to meet up with US-based friends and colleagues
I got chatting to a "big cheese" over lunch and she's asked me to write a chapter for her new book _pale_ I'm sooooooooooooo far out of my comfort zone  but what a fantastic opportunity :T
In money-related news, my pension appears to have performed better this past year than the year before (not very difficult!) and I've claimed £42.50 in B&Q vouchers (from CP+TCB) and Mr MWC has claimed another £30 (TCB) to put towards a new garden table.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
