  • Is a box ball a hedge-type thing?

Sort of - I have 11 of these in various sizes dotted around my front garden

Very swish! Saw some lovely work of that sort at East Ruston Old Vicarage this year http://www.e-ruston-oldvicaragegardens.co.uk/gallery/list/22/east-ruston.htm

    How's the lurgy?
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Oo lovely garden KC - I shall put it on my list of things to do next year :D

(My garden is not that swish!)

Lurgy is bearable although bending over to clip the box balls has meant that all the snot has drained back into my brain...

Glad to see that getting dressed came before clipping your box balls out front on your to do list MWC!

Interesting box balls. Do you use the Crocus site much ... we find them very good and some of their plants are very reasonable compared to elsewhere. it's where I got my want-not-need asparagus plants for £2.99 from! x

Yes, I've had quite a lot plants from Crocus over the years and I've been very pleased with them :T Most of them were bought in my pre-MFW days though - now I only use them if I've been given a GV or if there's something I really want on sale :)

TBH though the box balls were from a local nursery for less half the price!

Almost everything on the list done - the spare room is still full of bags of clothing as I decided to walk to Sainsburys rather than use the car.

Aw, rats to headache :( I shared your sh*te day. 135 minutes each way in piddling-it down to chucking-it down rain (not trying to outdo you as I only do it twice a week). Don't for goodness sake work out how many 7.5hr days you're spending in your car every year .

:T to eggs and Indian head massage :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Oh, hang on a mo. I have a box. And a ball. A ball in a box, even. Does that count?
