Fab news on tax rebates...so long as you can get into bank account of course.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo N/wide won't let me pay in the cheques in my maiden name even though I had my marriage certificate with me... it's going to be a nightmare to get HMR&C to re-issue the cheques :(:(:(
Thats appalling. Did you make rumblings about sex discrimination?

  • I succumbed to the T&M flash sungold tomato seed sale!

Even though it means I won't make my target of 25 NSDs this month, I think I've got a fairly good deal :D

    - Sungold tomato seeds reduced from £2.99 to 49p
    - I also ordered 'scarlet' kale, 'rainbow beet' beetroot, British basil, pennisetum glaucom 'purple majesty', larkspur 'kingsize scarlet' and Californian poppy 'red chief' seeds
    - the larkspur seeds were free
    - I went through TCB
    - I used a £10 GV that T&M sent me last year

    Cost to me = £2.49 (incl. £1.95 P&P) :T
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
