  • 2 loads of laundry pegged out - although it's dry it's not really drying weather, if you know what I mean... :(

I've spent some time in the garden this morning. The wheelie bin is full and there are still squillions of leaves to pick up (and loads left on the trees :()

Mr MWC: "i'll have quite a bit of money left at the end of the month."
    "About £1,000."
    Me: *Looks expectantly*
Mr MWC: "Yes, you can have it!"

  • Hi MWC, do you use any Nigel Slater books? I have two but rarely seem to choose them when menu planning.

If you do, any recipes you'd particularly recommend?

I loved Miss LRH raking leaves - thanks for posting pics.

Have a good day and well done to MR MWC and his 'extra money'. I could do with Mr T finding that amount :)

Sorry to interrupt by Nigel's Real Fast Food is brilliant and regualry dipped into in this house. I also have some big volume on vegetables by him which I never use and probably never will.

    Good morning Tilly

I love Nigel Slater and have Tender I & II and The Kitchen Diaries II... BUT... we very rarely use them :(

We like his hearty party hotpot recipe (from BBC's Nigel Slater's Simple Christmas) - this recipe is very similar :)
