    Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
    Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

    I have finally closed an old (pre-internet banking) postal savings account - 37p transferred into my current account :)

    My boss has been really nice for the past few months :D
    I'm finally doing the job I thought I'd accepted nearly 4 years ago! I'm even hopeful for a promotion and a career progression plan next year... although his boss is still an idiot, so I'm not counting my chickens!
